The new office will promote Toshiba's social infrastructure business in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, providing key equipment for sustaining the country's high rate of economic growth.

Vietnam's recent annual growth rates of seven to eight percent are stimulating demand for enhanced infrastructure, including power stations, water and sewerage systems and railways.
