Completion of Overseas Antitrust Review Regarding HDD Business

Tokyo–Toshiba Corporation (TOKYO: 6502) and Fujitsu Limited (TOKYO: 6702) announced today that they have completed all necessary procedures required by overseas antitrust authorities regarding Fujitsu's planned transfer of shares of Toshiba Storage Device Corporation ("TSDC") to Toshiba.

As previously announced, both companies are currently proceeding with the arrangements necessary for Fujitsu to transfer 80.1 percent of the shares of TSDC to Toshiba, with the scheduled completion on October 1, 2009.
