Toshiba Group will make a donation equivalent to 1 million Chinese yuan (approximately 16 million yen) to assist relief and recovery efforts in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake in Sichuan, China.

Toshiba Group plans to make the donation to China's governmental organizations and other non-profitable organizations.

The details, including timing and allocation of the donation, will be determined with consideration for local circumstances.
