Toshiba Published Brand Video to Introduce the Essence of Toshiba

TOKYO―Toshiba Corporation (TOKYO: 6502) has released a new brand video, “We are Toshiba 2020,” that shines a spotlight on Toshiba Group employees around the world, and how they are contributing to a better world, even in the face of the coronavirus.

In July 2018, Toshiba Group introduced the Essence of Toshiba, a restatement of the long-standing philosophy that provides its employees around the world with a unifying set of shared beliefs and values, including the basic commitment, “Committed to People, Committed to the Future.” As an infrastructure service company that makes full use of cyber-physical systems (CPS) technology, and by channeling the venture spirit handed down from its founders, Toshiba contributes to society’s continued development with innovations that solve social problems and lead the way to a better tomorrow. By imagining things that have never been and making them a reality, Toshiba turns on the promise of a new day.

A look at how Toshiba re-examined its core values and redefined its corporate philosophy, and what that means to Toshiba people around the world.
