Optical technology

Optical technology is applied to the research and development of new products. A production process for flash-memory has been developed using lithography simulation. Optical simulation is applied to the design of lighting and flat panel displays. Laser processing and optical inspection systems are also being developed.

Optical design and lithography

Optical simulation is applied to the design of optical devices for lighting, displays and sensing. Micro-structures, including diffraction gratings, micro waveguides and photonic crystals, are also analyzed using simulation. Circuit patterns and optical conditions are optimized using lithography simulation to accelerate development of NAND memory.
