TOSHIBA Top Page > TOSHIBA Digital Doors(Japanese) > For the Future of the Earth Toshiba Environmental Initiatives

Here at Toshiba we give full consideration to the global environment when we manufacture and market digital products like hard disk drives and high definition LED LCD televisions.
From the time we "manufacture" them, we are thinking carefully about the period when people will "use" them, and then about how to "reuse and recycle" them as resources at the end of their lives, all with a concern for the global environment and protecting biodiversity.
We would like to tell you about some of the environmental initiatives being taken as part of worldwide action on the global environment, including reducing CO2 emissions, and promoting environmental protection, and biodiversity. We will focus on one theme.
