Objective:
Measuring the quantity of waste food from the canteen, left by employees on the trays, after lunch, and meals that are not consumed by employees.
Overview of Action:
TSAL Curitiba measured from May 13th to 19th, the amount of food waste left on trays and meals that have not consumed by workers. Throughout this week, was wasted 80 kg of food (photo 1).
After that, was showed the results to the employees exposing in the canteen the pounds of food equivalent to the week wastage (photo 2/3). Subsequently was conducted with employees Dialogue about the problem and how to avoid this waste production (photo 4/5).
Likewise, TSAL Curitiba is supporting the canteen subcontractor to decrease the amount of food wasting during the production meals.
