Introduced in June1999, Toshiba Group Earth Protection Mark is a symbol communicating the corporate stance of Toshiba Corporation and Toshiba Group companies on environmental protection and environmental activities. This mark is used in accordance with the Guidelines for Application of Toshiba Group Earth Protection Mark.
Also, in March 2007, the “Excellent ECP” mark and “Environmentally conscious product” mark were established to promote the awareness of environmentally conscious products.
Toshiba Group Earth Protection Mark may be used as a symbol of a company's stance and activities provided that documentation such as an environmental report and green procurement guidelines is available.
