Fuel Loading
The functionality of the power plant's systems and equipment were confirmed, allowing the first fuel to be loaded into the reactor core at 9:39am on November 30, 1995. Thanks to smooth progress in construction, fueling began 2.5 months ahead of schedule.
Loading the first batch of 872 assemblies took 11 days and pre-commissioning tests started in due course.
