Yes and you can also view PDF files, but you cannot edit them.

Please move/copy it from "My sounds" to "My document" or "Application data" folder.
You can then select it from "Setting > Sounds > Ringtone".

No unfortunately this is not a feature of the Windows Mobile® Operating system. You have to delete emails one by one.

The fingerprint security protects all the data stored in the phone's memory without the need to manually enter the device lock code.

How can I open a JPEG file on a PC which is stored on the MiniSD card in the Portégé G500?

A

It is not possible to open a JPEG which is stored on a Mini SD card directly on the PC. It is necessary to copy it to the PC first in order to open the JPEG file.

How can I synchronise the data between my PC and my Portégé G500?

1. Install Activesync® 4.2 on to the PC. A copy of this is on the in-box CD.
2. Connect the handset to the PC via the USB cable.
3. Activesync® will detect the handset.
4. Follow the on screen guide that appears on the PC.

The available format for ringtones is ; WMA, MP3, AAC and AAC+.
Make sure the ringtone is in the "My Documents" folder on the handset.

Yes it is possible to make emergency calls depending upon the network coverage.

Yes you have to delete the fingerprint sensor software which might be stored in your PC in order to install Goldkey software on your PC.

Yes. Use the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack to control the Goldkey but connect ActiveSync® via USB.

Can I use the fingerprint authentication in parallel with a SIM PIN lock?

PIN lock only protects data stored on the SIM Card. Both PIN Lock and Fingerprint security can work in parallel, however there is still a need to manually enter the PIN code.

1. Is your firewall enabled, try disabling it.
2. Have you loaded Activesync® 4.2 on the PC ?
3. Is the USB cable connected ?
