In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law which has become fully effective as of April 1, 2005, Toshiba Consumer Marketing Corporation treats personal data of customers such as names and address as provided in warranty cards, in the following manner. We would appreciate your understanding.

Please note that your personal data filled in on this warranty card (such as your address) may be used for in-warranty service and out-of warranty safety monitoring activities.

Please note that your personal data may be disclosed to maintenance service companies with which Toshiba Consumer Marketing Corporation has repair service contracts, to the extent necessary to carry out repair services. We are making sure that these companies comply with the Personal Data Protection Law and our Personal Data Protection Program. We would appreciate your understanding.

For products which are shipped on or after April 1, 2005, there may be warranty cards enclosed in which above "Treatment of Personal Data" is provided ,or a leaflet containing the description upside is enclosed.
