With almost 40 years of experience to draw on in the semiconductor field, Toshiba Electronic Device Solutions Corporation (TEDS) traces its lineage back to a semiconductor engineering company founded by Toshiba in 1981 and through several subsequent organizational changes, including a company split. TEDS was established in April 2019 as a new engineering enterprise, merging Toshiba Discrete Semiconductor Technology Corporation (TDIT), engaged in the discrete semiconductor business, and Toshiba Microelectronics Corporation (TOSMEC), engaged in the system LSI business.

TEDS has many capable and experienced engineers devoted to development of semiconductor devices and, in collaboration with its parent Toshiba Electronic Device and Storage Corporation (TDSC), offers services ranging from solution proposals, technical support for customers, and product development to technology evaluation and test & analysis, always with efficiency and effectiveness as its watchwords. TEDS also offers such services as semiconductor design, defect analysis and product evaluation to customers other than TDSC.

With an eye to safety, security and comfort now and in the future, by proposing optimum solutions, offering customer support backed by outstanding technology, and providing technology for developing higher-performance semiconductor devices, TEDS underpins development of semiconductor devices that are the driving force for changing the world, thereby contributing to society.
