Toshiba Electronic Device Solutions Corporation aims to create value for tomorrow and coexist with the Earth, consistent with Toshiba Group philosophy of being “Committed to People, Committed to the Future". We will contribute to the development of a sustainable society and better future through environmental management practices aimed at being de-carbonized, recycling-based, and harmonious with nature.

Policy

Toshiba Electronic Device Solutions Corporation considers, based on the Statement of Environmental Philosophy of Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation Group, environmental stewardship to be one of our management's primary tasks. With our passion to ensure that "Our semiconductor products will always be a driving force to change the world", We strive to take the environment into consideration in our business activities, including in the semiconductor design and device development, evaluation, solutions and technical supports and disposal of semiconductor products from a life cycle perspective. We also aim to practice corporate activities that integrate management and the environment for the resolution of social issues through our products, created with technology and our passion toward the realization of sustainable society.

1. Compliance and Sustainability

   • (1) Toshiba Electronic Device Solutions Corporation complies with all applicable laws and regulations, industry guidelines we have endorsed, and our own standards concerning the environment.
   • (2) Toshiba Electronic Device Solutions Corporation strives to continuously improve our environmental management system and effectively apply environmental management, through internal audits and reviews, in order to enhance environmental activities level and environmental performances.

2. Execution

   Toshiba Electronic Device Solutions Corporation strives to assess the environmental impact on the environment and biodiversity caused by our business activities. We will set objectives with respect to energy saving and resource saving development and design of semiconductor products, reduction of environmental impact, and pollution prevention. We will execute proactive environmental measures including the following:

   • (1) Striving to create and supply semiconductor products that contribute to solving social issues.
   • (2) Striving to disseminate information and collaborate with local communities and society to facilitate mutual understanding with stakeholders.
   • (3) Striving to enhance the environmental awareness with respect to all employees in order to process business activities considering environment throughout Toshiba Electronic Device Solutions Corporation.

Toshiba Electronic Device Solutions Corporation discloses this Statement of Environmental Philosophy to the public, promotes awareness of this Statement of Environmental Philosophy throughout Toshiba Electronic Device Solutions Corporation, and promotes our business activities according to this Statement.
